TO ATLETICO Oh Nando, where did it all go wrong? Milan have been left entirely unimpressed by Fernando Torres during the early period of his two-year loan spell from Chelsea, Torres not picked since the Milan derby in November. Jose Mourinho has also already dismissed the idea that the Spanish striker will return to Stamford Bridge. You can understand why he would rather keep him away from the club. With that in mind, the Guardian have picked up on reports that Milan are in talks with Atletico Madrid regarding a move back home for the struggling Torres, in a deal that would see Alessandro Cerci move back to Italy. A loan swap, essentially. Cerci has also struggled of late, failing to make a single league start since his move from Torino this summer. If there's one club with whom Torres can finally regain a modicum of footballing self-respect, it's surely Atletico. We're not holding our breath, mind.

ARSENAL WANT SISSOKO DEAL The talk of Arsenal moving for Newcastle's Moussa Sissoko has been repeated regularly since the summer transfer window, and the Daily Mirror go big on claims that Arsene Wenger wants to pay £16m for the midfielder. The Mirror amusingly use the following line: 'The Gunners boss has £20m to spend in January and may decide his priority is a defender but they are keeping very close tabs on Sissoko.' Yep, that sounds like Arsene. The defence will be fine. Sissoko himself has spoken of his childhood love of Arsenal, but we can't quite help feeling that he isn't exactly the type of midfielder Arsenal need. The Frencman has played in a central area before, but is much more comfortable as an attacking midfielder. That really isn't what Arsenal need.

RABIOT TO SPURS ON LOAN It's been a deal that has been mooted for a few weeks now, but it appears that Tottenham's attempts to sign Paris St Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot on loan may soon bear fruit. Rabiot was thought to be leaving PSG this summer, with Arsenal amongst the favourites to sign the 19-year-old. However, the midfielder has since signed a new contract in Paris, but is still looking to leave on loan in order to get some regular playing time. L'Equipe report that Franco Baldini has been working on a deal for some time, and talks between both clubs and the player's representatives have seen progress made. We'd love to have him in the Premier League.

BERAHINO WANTS TO LEAVE It was only a matter of time before Saido Berahino revealed that he was getting a little peeved with life at West Brom. Six weeks ago he was England's next striking sensation, and now he can't even get a start at the Hawthorns. The goals have dried up, too. The claim comes from TalkSPORT that Berahino no longer sees a future for himself at West Brom, and has set his sights on a move to either Spurs or Liverpool. Both certainly need a striker. Berahino has cancelled contract talks that have been ongoing in recent weeks. AND THE REST Celtic are in the hunt for 25-year-old Kara Mbodj of Racing Genk... QPR boss Harry Redknapp is ready to offer Ravel Morrison a contract if he leaves West Ham... Uwe Rosler is the favourite to take over from Sami Hyypia at Brighton... But Tim Sherwood is also in the running... Manchester United are willing to offer Real Madrid £120m to sign Gareth Bale... Louis van Gaal is considering whether to loan out attacking starlet Adnan Januzaj or not... Chelsea are ready to pull the plug on Christian Atsu's loan spell at Everton.
